IT Level 2 students part in an IT interview as part of their assessment. Most students had never had an interview before. Students practised some role play tasks in class and prepared popular interview questions and answers before attending an interview at the college for a job as an IT technician.

Craven College was delighted to receive a GPLD grant (Great Place Lakes and Dales Acorn fund) as part of a project that Skipton Puppet Festival are delivering to build connections with local creative young people.

Steve Wright from Routes Puppets came to the College on 30 September and 01 October delivering his award-winning short educational presentations covering British values, Hate crime and Prevent using Puppetry. Over 300 students attended the event.

As part of their introduction to the course, Catering & Hospitality Entry 3 Level 1 students went on a fact-finding mission on Skipton High Street.

Students were asked to look at the diversity and range of catering outlets and examine in more detail services and products offered.
