25 June 2018
5:30pm - 7:30pm
A unique fusion of fine art, fashion, photography, jewellery, 3D design, textiles, graphics and computing, interlaced by theatre, film and media Make-up creations.
‘Creative Carbon', is the new work from The School of Digital & Creative Industries at Craven College. It will represent the culmination of all our students' hard work and vision over the past year.
This year's show promises to stimulate the thoughts and senses of all our guests differently. From the eclectic stories of Aesops Fables, staged by Performing Arts students in the college amphitheatre, to the Pernicious Beasties, housed in our atmospheric Emporium of Curiosities and made by our superb Theatrical Media Make-Up students.
This is Me, from the Greatest Showman, an anthem to the marginalised in society will open the show, sung by our Performing Arts students and celebrating the tolerant and inclusive community to which we all belong.
There are many diverse, richly textured fashion garments on show, inspired by themes from robot films and a visit from an international graffiti artist. And finally, ‘Carbon Copy Cinema' celebrates this year's film and television productions, from our wonderful Creative Media students and staff team.
