Overview

This Diploma offers you a fabulous opportunity to develop your skills and learn about new techniques and treatments for both women’s and men’s hair.

Working with real clients in the Academy of Hair & Beauty is a perfect way to start your career in Hairdressing and Barbering. Fully equipped, state of the art, industry standard salons using top professional equipment and products make an ideal learning platform for you to learn the practical as well as the theoretical side of Hairdressing and Barbering.

You will be taught the techniques and skills in style and dress hair, colour, cut, Barbering techniques and blowdry hair on both male and female clients’ hair to create the look they want. Visiting experts make sure you are exposed to the most up to date information and developments in areas such as colouring, cutting and up to date product knowledge. You can take part in internal competitions which are a wonderful platform to show off your newly found talents.

  • Hairdressing Level 1 or previous experience including English & Maths GCSEs grade 9-2 (A*-E)
