Overview

On this course, you will develop a range of hairdressing skills and techniques in conjunction with improving your communication skills whilst consulting with clients.

Working with real clients in the Academy of Hair & Beauty is a perfect way to start your career in hairdressing. Fully equipped, state of the art industry standard salons using top professional equipment and products make an ideal learning platform for you to learn the practical as well as the theoretical side of Hairdressing.

You will be taught the techniques and skills to cut, colour, style and dress female clients’ hair to create the look they want. Visiting experts make sure you are exposed to the most up to date information and developments in areas such as colouring, cutting and product knowledge. As a Hairdressing student, you can take part in internal competitions which are a wonderful platform to show off your newly found talents as well as visiting the Manchester Trade Fair.

Students have the opportunity to complete both the Certificate and the Diploma Level 2 within one year.
