Planting, Design & Maintenance

This course is ideal for professional designers as a CPD option. You will be joining the students on the Foundation Degree in Garden Design to study all aspects of contemporary (and historic) planting. You will produce a detailed plan, as well as specification and maintenance documents.

This module links closely to another module from the Foundation Degree – Computer Applications and CAD for Garden Design. It shares a garden project and students have historically enrolled on both so that they can produce their planting plan in CAD, as well as learn fine presentation skills utilising Vectorworks, SketchUp and Photoshop.

Entry Requirements

Be competent in the basic principles of planting, particularly the correct use of botanical naming, right plant, right place etc.
