Overview

This course gives you a comprehensive introduction to Health and Social Care which will enable you to progress to Level 3 courses and employment in the industry.

Our tutors have a wide range of Health and Social Care experience ranging from managing Residential Homes and Homecare Services for people with learning difficulties to be a Ward Sister, to working in Nurseries, Primary Schools, Secondary and Special Schools through to Social Services. Their backgrounds mean that they have a wealth of experience on which to base their teaching and your learning. They also have many well-established contacts within the industry which is good in terms of work experience opportunities and excellent guest speakers.
