Dressmaking Skills – Extending
The Great British Sewing Bee comes to life on our main campus, with this inspiring course to improve your dressmaking skills.
During this course you will consolidate your skills in seam work and shaping, as well as learn about the different structure and properties of various dressmaking fabrics. Each week you will take part in a mini ‘Sewing Bee Challenge’ to learn professional tips, tricks and shortcuts for a range of dressmaking skills.
Entry Requirements
Basic sewing skills and how to use a sewing machine are essential. This course is suitable for intermediate level learners who wish to improve.
Information
You may wish to use your own fabric and bring your own sewing resources to the course (i.e. your own shears etc).
