Creative Textiles – Extending

“Design can be art. Design can be aesthetics. Design is so simple, that’s why it is so complicated.”
Paul Rand, Designer

This motivating weekly course offers you the opportunity to put into practice your design, art and sewing skills in a workshop style class, to create and make your own textile item. Whether you choose to embellish and make a simple shift dress or design a collection of cushions showcasing your printing and applique skills – this is the course for you. You will work on your own project, guided by our experienced tutor, to help you plan and carry out your project.

Basic sewing or art skills are necessary, as this course is suitable for beginners/improvers who wish to utilise their skills to create their own project.
