Creative Textiles – Developing

“If you want a golden rule that will fit everything, this is it: Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”

William Morris, Designer

This exciting weekly course offers you the opportunity to learn and test new techniques for converting your textile art into useful and beautiful textile products, such as cushion covers and bags.

You will learn how to pipe professionally, insert a zip, create a button-hole and make ties and handles to be able to purposefully make your existing textile art into actual products.

Basic sewing or art skills are encouraged, but not essential, as this course is suitable for beginners who wish to develop their skills.
