Overview

As a Business Administrators you will have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors which include small and large businesses alike; from the public, private and charitable sector. Your role may involve working independently or as part of a team and you will develop, implement, maintain and improve administrative services. You will develop key skills and behaviours to support your own progression towards management responsibilities.

Supporting and engaging with different parts of the organisation and interacting with internal or external customers are all part of the role. You will add value by contributing to the efficiency of an organisation by supporting functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested. The flexibility and responsiveness required will allow you to develop a wide range of skills.

In delivering your responsibilities efficiently and with integrity and showing a positive attitude, you will demonstrate strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and will adopt a proactive approach to developing skills. Showing initiative is key, along with managing priorities and your own time, problem-solving skills, decision-making and the potential for people management responsibilities through mentoring or coaching others.
