Overview

Our fantastic industry standard facilities include a Commercial Graphics Studio equipped with Mac Computers, Photography Studio, 3D modelling and Animation Suite with Adobe Creative Cloud, Fashion, textiles and 3D Design studios as well as individual Fine Art spaces.

The course is designed to provide you with progression opportunities if you are a previous level 3 student or if you are returning to education. You will explore the different areas of art and design in your first term, moving from staff led projects to more independent student led themes as you decide which pathway to specialise in towards the end of the course.

You can choose between the following pathways: Fine Art, 3D Design, Fashion and Textiles, Photography and Graphics.

The Final Project for this course culminates in a professionally displayed exhibition, the best showcase for the start of a creative career.

Past students have typically progressed to university/ higher education, or have used the qualification to make more informed career decisions.

Entry Requirements

  • Art & Design Level 3 or other Level 3 in Art & Design related subject including 5 GCSEs 9-4 (A*-C) including English or Maths
  • Portfolio of Art & Design work
  • Mature students are considered on work experience and relevant portfolio
