Overview

You will cover a variety of topics to include animal handling, feeding, accommodation and grooming and you will practice these on a range of species in our three animal units. You will have an opportunity to feed the snakes and bearded dragons, handle our chameleon and learn about live food. You could be involved with grooming dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs as well as checking for eggs in the hen coop. With over 60 species of animals, there is plenty to learn about and we do this in a practical way as we know how important hands-on experiences are.

Please bring a pen and paper, appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear.  If you have long hair, please tie it back.

Refreshments will not be available on the day therefore it is important to bring your own lunch.

You will be required to adhere to all health and safety requirements.
