Want to learn the principles behind foraging as well as some easy to identify, safe edible plants you can start adding to your dishes?
Foraging is all about discovering natural sources of wild food. This course will focus on greens which can be added to salads or other such dishes, the plants will be easy to identify and widespread. This course will be practical and involve walking to find tasty specimens. Survival techniques of both game capture and preparation will be covered. Please note that if you are not comfortable with game preparation you are not forced to participate but this will be an element of the course and is not always suited to the feint of heart.
Be prepared for all weathers, we will be walking regardless!
