Overview

Based in the rural setting of our College campus you will have access to excellent facilities including animal care units, equine yards, horticulture greenhouses, ATV’s and Craven College’s fleet of tractors. Learn new technical skills and benefit from visiting guest speakers, field visits and industry input from the agricultural, countryside, adventure recreation and environmental sectors. Learn practical skills including Land-based Machinery, Estate Skills, Ecological Surveys and the use of Firearms in the Land-based sector. Along with being out in the field, you will also learn the theory behind Conservation and Game Management and through relevant work experience, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals.

All of our tutors are experts in their fields with experience of working as Rangers, in Environmental Education, Horticulture and Agriculture.
