The Study Support Centre is a calm area for students away from the noise and bustle elsewhere in College. The Study Support Team help with one-to-one or small group tuition, improving proof-reading, assignment writing, managing workloads as well as helping to develop researching skills. Study support drop-in workshops are available across all campuses and one to one sessions are available remotely.
Who can receive support?
You might not feel that you have a disability, or you dislike the term, but the adjustments and support available may make a real difference in helping you to achieve your goals.
We offer a range of support covering many areas, including:
- Specialist equipment and software
- 1:1 specialist tuition
- Specialist assistive technology training

In specific cases, students are able to apply for Disabled Students’ Allowance. This will give you the extra support you need to be successful in your studies. College staff can help you with your application, for more information please contact the SEND Support team on 01756 693 860. Disclosing a disability or health condition is not always easy. If you did not disclose this on your application form and would like support, contact the Study Support team on 01756 707 274.
