Course Studied: A Levels

Initially I was unsure of whether I would pass my GCSE’s. I chose to study the full-time A-Level programme at Craven College in subjects I had an interest in. It was while studying here I realised I really enjoyed the subjects and thought maybe I could go to university. I went on to study BA Hons English at Manchester Metropolitan University, and then MA Critical Theory at University of Bristol. I’m now just about to embark on my PhD at University of Bristol.

The best thing about Craven College is that you are treated as an adult and an individual. The small class sizes make it easy to discuss topics and interact with one another, and the support from your tutors is excellent – you can really turn to them when things are difficult.

 

Plus, it’s not over when you leave! Relationships don’t end when you finish college. The contacts and links I made while studying here are still strong, and didn’t end after my time at Craven College was over.
