Course Studied: Foundation Degree in Travel Operations Management
After backpacking around South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand I realised how much I would enjoy working in the tourism industry.
The work placements I have completed have given me real hands on experience. I have worked at the Rendezvous Hotel, Skipton, Thomas Cook, Head Office in Bradford and Crowne Plaza hotel in Leeds. The management aspect of the course really appealed to me as these skills will prove valuable in the future.
As a result of our work shadowing visit to Malta I see my future in events and conferencing in a hospitality environment.
