Information for students travelling to Skipton from within North Yorkshire
If you live between Skipton and Carlisle (on the Leeds-Settle-Appleby-Carlisle line) you can apply for a Dales Railcard.
You can use a Dales Railcard between the valid stations such as Settle, Gargrave, Hellifield, Long Preston, Giggleswick, Clapham and Bentham and can save 1/3 on the cost of single, day return and saver tickets.
The Dales Railcard costs £10.00 per person.

The post-16 travel charge of £350 is an annual charge. Craven College can offer students with an NYCC Pass a Travel Bursary of £150 per year reducing the total cost of the pass to £200 per year (just under £67 per term).
