Both certificates provide widely recognised teacher training qualifications for the post compulsory sector of education, consisting of coverage of all key aspects of the work of the teacher and trainer.
The modules and the learning outcomes present in each module are based on an analysis of the work of the teacher. The course consists of the fundamental skills of teaching, the facilitation of learning and curriculum development and practice in the workplace.
Interview and reference plus the following:
Level 3 qualification in the subject you teach.
You are required to be employed to teach or train for at least 150 hours, that is 75 hours in each of the two years. You will need to nominate a subject specialist mentor.
