Our part time courses offer a rich selection of hobby or career enhancing courses and give you the opportunity to try something new or develop existing skills whilst meeting new friends.
With part-time courses you can study flexibly for pleasure, for career enhancement or to gain a qualification. Whatever your motivations are, Craven College will be pleased to help you understand your options as well as inspire you with some possibilities you may not have even considered yet.

Fees vary depending on your chosen course and they are set out in the course listings along with additional costs like exam and registration fees and membership of professional bodies, available at the time of going to print. Please Note: exam fees and registration fees must be paid at enrolment.

Please Note: You will need proof of your benefit or status to claim free course fees. For tax credits please bring your Inland Revenue Award Notice.
However, you will still be required to pay any examination or registration fee, the cost of membership of any professional bodies, plus any additional costs for textbooks, equipment, materials etc. but you may be able to receive support from our hardship fund to help with some of these costs.

Minimum numbers are required before a course can run. In the event of a course recruiting insufficient numbers we will try to offer you other alternatives or, failing that, will automatically refund any monies you have paid.
Craven College reserves the right to merge or alter delivery of courses if the number of students attending falls during the course. If, as a result of this, the day or time of the course alters to the extent that you are no longer able to attend, we will refund an appropriate proportion of the course fee and any examination/registration fee paid.
In all other cases fees will not be refunded, as per the Refund of Fees Policy. If you decide not to continue your studies for any reason full fees are still payable. This includes fees paid by direct debit or fees which have been paid for you by your employer or sponsor.
The information contained in this Directory is accurate at the time of printing, but some changes may inevitably take place. All course fees and registration/examination fees are correct at the time of going to press but some variation in price may occur as a result of circumstances beyond our control. In addition to these fees most courses will require students to buy equipment, materials and /or text books – please enquire at enrolment.
