Craven College Sport update

Craven College v Ilkley Grammar School in a friendly match (at Ilkley)

The last match played between these two rivals at the start of term was a very evenly matched game all the way through, swaying each quarter to either side but Ilkley eventually took the lead 22-21.
 
However, this week Craven College girls displayed their development playing an excellent game and beat Ilkley Grammar 35-14. All Craven girls played to their best and the Ilkley Grammar girls nominated ‘Craven girl of the match’ as Sarah Pate.

A 'game of two halves' saw Craven dominant in the first but just could not score. In the second half Ermysteds put the pressure on the Craven midfield and forced some defensive mistakes resulting in a score 3-nil to the grammar school. Star Craven College players this week were: Jamie Crabtree, Liam Hudson and Derry Myers.
