Recent changes in our society have dramatically highlighted the need for quality care provision and have, at the same time, created many fulfilling opportunities in a wide range of jobs for those who enjoy helping others.

A career in caring can provide great satisfaction. Our programmes will challenge you, make you think about your personal attributes and values and how these lend themselves to community services.

Along with a caring nature you should have; patience, enthusiasm, good communication and organisational skills, with a genuine interest in helping others, and lots of energy. You will also need to be dedicated to developing your skills in order to become a competent and outstanding practitioner in the industry. Our courses blend theory with practical experience in your chosen area of study.

Our links with local early years, health and care providers, emergency services and various regional and national public service providers will help to put the theory learned in the classroom into practice through work experience and industry visits. Courses allow you to develop a good range of knowledge, skills and understanding which will enhance your career.
