“After accepting the post of Trainee Tutor at Nell Bank, I was offered the opportunity to continue my education and enrol onto the part time Environmental Conservation Apprenticeship Course at Craven College. So far I have found the course very interesting and am able to work full time with periods allocated to study during the working day. Thankfully The staff at both College and Nell Bank are very helpful with any challenges I face regarding my college work. Most of my learning is work based and the skills learnt at Nell Bank link seamlessly to my course. This means that meaning at the end of this year, I will have gained an NVQ, First Aid, Manual Handling and Working at Heights to name but a few. The staff at Nell Bank are very team orientated, so I can rely on any member of staff if I need help, because of this I always feel relaxed and safe in my learning environment.”
