No qualifications? No work experience? Or just not sure what you want to do? You will have the opportunity to gain industry recognised qualifications in Maths and English whilst gaining work experience in areas of your choice.
e2e is an excellent opportunity for those candidates who may not be sure which career path they wish to pursue and find themselves without training or a job after leaving school. Or you may have tried a job or training that hasn’t worked out and need help and support in finding or trying new opportunities.
As an e2e candidate you will attend College between 18 and 30 hours per week and try out different areas of study as well as getting specific training towards a qualification that you agree with your tutor. You will have the opportunity to improve your Maths, English and IT skills.
Some of your time may be spent working with a company and getting experience in an area that interests you such as Equine, Construction or Hairdressing. The options are endless!!
All e2e candidates are entitled to an Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA). This claim can help to cover your weekly costs whilst attending College and leave some spare money in your pocket.
You can have a part-time job, perhaps in the evening, and still claim your EMA payment. Call us for further details on 01756 693681.
e2e is designed to help you identify which job or training is most suitable for you and to equip you with the skills to progress into your chosen career. The College will support you in your chosen path and help you secure training or get employment.
Many e2e candidates choose an Apprenticeship at the end of the time on e2e or others start a full time College programme.
