The course is full of challenges and tasks which I can relate to the work place. The class is lively and offers a good learning, supportive environment.
For me an Apprenticeship is the best way to learn; I get taught the methods and skills I need in College by lively and knowledgeable tutors, and then get to try them out in the workplace and refine them. I wouldn’t learn it any other way.
After studying my A Levels at Scarborough Sixth Form College I decided to pursue the career I always wanted in finance and especially the accountancy side. I didn’t like the thought of going to University and having all the debt afterwards, with no guarantee of a job when I finished, so I decided to take the Apprenticeship pathway. I have never regretted this option, I find it a better way of learning for me and I am gaining valuable experience which is vital to become the best. I hope to continue training to become fully qualified by either ICAEW or ACCA and I can follow either path thanks to the Apprenticeship programme. Craven College has set me on what is certain to be a successful path to the top.
