This is an exciting industry that’s ever changing and always interesting. You could be working in a smaller local salon or in a larger exclusive city salon. The Apprenticeship will give you the knowledge and understanding required to be employed in the industry and could ultimately mean a future in salon management or ownership.
You will enhance your technical and creative skills in beauty therapies, customer service, client management and health & safety. The Apprenticeship will build on your existing skills and develop your abilities in a wide range of cosmetic applications. Following the Apprenticeship you may wish to specialise in a particular area or progress on to an Advanced Apprenticeship.
Course duration is between 12-18 months dependent on opportunities for assessment and your experience.

You will attend college two days per week and an assessor will visit you at your workplace regularly to assess your competence and help you to build a portfolio of evidence.
