The Audit Committee, in accordance with the provisions of Article 6 of the Articles of Government, advises the Board on matters relating to the Corporation’s audit arrangements and systems of internal control. This Committee will be subject to the provisions of the Standing Orders of the Corporation and its Committees (to which specific reference should be made) and shall operate in accordance with any requirements of the Learning and Skills Council. It is responsible to the Board.
The Finance, Resources and Investment Committee considers and advises the Board on all aspects of the Board’s finances, financial controls, estates maintenance and development matters, relevant policies (which are not specifically covered by another of the Board’s Committees) and on any issues arising out of such matters.
The Search Committee, in accordance with the provisions of Article 5 of the Articles of Government, advises the Board on the appointment of members of the Board and on the co-option of the co-opted members and on such other matters relating to membership and appointments.

The Quality and Standards Committee advises the Board on issues of quality, standards and self-assessment in College. This Committee will be subject to the provisions of the Standing Orders of the Corporation and its Committees (to which specific reference should be made) and has been established in line with the Articles of Government (particularly Article 4) and best practice. It is responsible to the Board.
