NVQ 2 Professional Cookery
As a mature student I completed NVQ 2 Professional Cookery at Craven College. I did the course to gain more experience and qualifications to be able to open my own restaurant.
By doing the course at Craven College it has improved my confidence, and my written and spoken English. The teaching groups are great to work in and the tutors know how industry operates with their own firsthand experience.
College has been really helpful and supportive with my childcare needs, enabling me to learn flexibly and helping me when I needed it.
When I am not at college I work at the 4-star Rudding Park Hotel with another well-known ex-student, Stephanie Moon, who is an executive level chef.
